ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. – The Metropolis of Arroyo Grande is providing one-time grants to small native companies which can be in want throughout the pandemic.

On Tuesday night, Arroyo Grande Metropolis Council unanimously approved using $60,000 from CARES Act income for the Small Enterprise Assitance Grant Program.

The federal Coronavirus Help, Reduction, and Financial Safety Act, or CARES Act, gives funding by the Coronavirus Reduction Fund (CRF) for state and native governments to pay for a part of the prices they incurred whereas responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Metropolis of Arroyo Grande reported it was given $218,384 by the CARES Act.
