Charles W. “Brief” Armstrong Sr., 90, of Reedsville, handed away Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020, at Valley View Haven.
Born Feb. 10, 1930, in Reedsville, he was a son of the late Harry Leroy and Pearl S. (Dippery) Armstrong.
Along with his mother and father, he was preceded in demise by: a daughter, Carol Ann (Armstrong) Ebersole; siblings, Harry Armstrong Jr., Larry Armstrong and Sarah Jane Christianson; and a son-in-law, Robert Ebersole.
He’s survived by: spouse, Mary Elizabeth (Hunt) Armstrong, whom he married July 13, 1951; sons, Charles W. Armstrong Jr. and spouse, Beth, of Milroy, and Timothy R. Armstrong and spouse, Marjorie, of Paxinos; six grandchildren, Timber Ebersole, Robert W. Ebersole, Peter Ebersole, Jenny Armstrong, Kristopher Armstrong, Rachelle Armstrong; three great-grandchildren, Kinlee Ebersole, Claire E. Krushinskie and Reese J. Krushinskie; and a sister, Linda Rudy, of Elliottsburg.
Charles was a 1948 Reedsville Excessive Faculty graduate.
He entered the U.S. Military and fought within the Korean Warfare in 1951-1952.
Charles was a service supervisor at Suburban Propane the place he retired after 40 years of service.
He loved woodworking, attempting to find deer, taking walks, and watching sports activities.
No providers will probably be held.
