George W. Duff, 93, handed away Dec. 4, 2020 at UPMC Susquehanna.
He was born Aug. 21, 1927 to the late John and Leila Crouse Duff.
George was a 1945 graduate of Lock Haven Excessive College. After commencement he entered the Navy the place he served his nation as a Seaman within the Second Class till his honorable discharge on July 29, 1946. George was awarded the World Battle II Victory Medal for his service to the nation. Upon his discharge from Naval service George started working on the former Hammermill Paper Co. in Lock Haven.
On April 15, 1950 George married the previous Grace Fisher, she survives at dwelling.
He was a member of the Rote United Methodist Church. George was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. George and Grace loved a few years as season ticket holders at Penn State soccer video games in addition to following this system to many bowl video games. His wit and antics shall be enormously missed by all who knew him.
Along with his spouse, George is survived by a granddaughter, Laura (Andy) Weaver of Lock Haven; a daughter-in-law, Carol Duff of Lock Haven; his great-grandchildren, Abigail Morgan, Tyler Evan and Cooper Stephen Weaver of Lock Haven; and his trustworthy canine, Ruby.
George was preceded in demise by his son, Gary Stephen Duff, Aug. 15, 2018.
A graveside service shall be held on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at Linnwood Cemetery, 168 Linnwood Drive, Lock Haven, PA 17745 with Main Ron Lugiano officiating.
