​​​​​​CHILLICOTHE- As coronavirus circumstances rise throughout the state and in the neighborhood, native college districts have altered their plans to maneuver ahead with winter sports activities.

The brand new guidelines comply with a gathering between the Ross County Well being District and superintendents county-wide Tuesday morning, mentioned Ross County Well being Commissioner Garrett Guillozet.

Whereas 7-Twelfth grade sports activities will proceed as scheduled, they are going to have the next restrictions: 

  • Masks are required to be worn if attending.
  • There shall be residence cheer squads solely.
  • Pep bands is not going to be permitted.
  • No concessions permitted and spectators can’t usher in meals or drink.
  • Every participant will obtain two tickets for admittance with social distance seating required. No further spectators shall be permitted.

Zane Hint Superintendent Jerry Mowery outlined the transfer as a “compromise,” because the Ross County Well being District requested for a shutdown of all college sports activities in Ok-12.
