On Thursday, October 1, 2020, Nancy Myers Peterson of Ponte Vedra Seashore, FL handed away at age 89. Nancy was born on January 6, 1931 in Steubenville, OH to the late George A. Myers and Anna Marie Griffith. She graduated from Steubenville HS in 1947. She was a proud Delta Zeta at Miami College in Oxford, OH, and she or he graduated in 1951 with a B.A. diploma in English.
On February 3, 1951, she married her highschool sweetheart, Ken Peterson. She and Ken raised two daughters, Beth and Amy. She was largely a homemaker however labored in banking and substitute instructing. She served on the Board of Administrators at Ohio Valley Hospital for a few years. She and Ken lived many joyful years in Steubenville in addition to Naples, FL and later in Jacksonville, FL to be close to their daughter, Amy.
Nancy beloved to golf, entertain her many family and friends, backyard, ikebana, books, and crossword puzzles. She even had a gap in a single on the Steubenville Nation Membership. She was a tall, stylish woman with an ideal sense of favor.
Nancy was preceded in loss of life by her son, Kenneth Myers Peterson, and her husband, Ken, of 64 years.
She is survived by her daughters, Beth Peterson of Charlotte, NC and Amy Peterson of Jacksonville Seashore, FL. A funeral service will probably be held at 11 a.m. on November 10, 2020 at First Westminster Presbyterian Church in Steubenville.
