Seven years after the notorious and ugly homicide of eight individuals by the Division of State Companies (DSS) in Apo space of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the FGN has lastly disbursed the sum of N135 million to the households and family of the victims of the unlucky incident.

The fee turned obligatory after a panel of inquiry by the Nationwide Human Rights Fee (NHRC) on April 2014, indicted the DSS for grossly violating the rights of the victims and requested it to compensate the useless and injured victims to the tune of N135 million.
