JEFFERSON CITY — Former President Barack Obama gave his assist to 2 Missouri Democrats on Friday, endorsing State Auditor Nicole Galloway in her run for governor and state Sen. Jill Schupp within the 2nd congressional district.

Schupp and Galloway have been amongst greater than 100 Democrats operating nationwide that Obama endorsed on Friday.

The previous president mentioned on Twitter, “I’m proud to endorse these excellent Democratic candidates who will work to get the virus beneath management, rebuild the financial system and the center class, and shield Individuals’ well being care and preexisting situations protections. Galloway is operating towards Republican Gov. Mike Parson; Schupp is operating towards U.S. Rep. Ann Wagner, R-Ballwin, in a district that features a lot of suburban St. Louis.
