The Socastee women varsity tennis crew defeated Mauldin, 5-1, on Saturday in Florence to assert the 5A women tennis state title, the primary time a women sport has received a state championship on the college.

“I’m happy with these women,” Woman Braves head coach Jason Williams stated. “Even those that don’t get to play again each other. I’m glad that the ladies are supportive and are simple and enjoyable to educate.”
