Spokane’s Sam Shuman led wire-to-wire to say the person championship on the Class 2 State Cross Nation Meet on Friday.

Within the women’ race, Licking’s Kasey Richards was the highest space finisher in fifth place with a time of 20:27.4. That was one spot forward of Skyline’s Justine Barb. Summit Prep’s Alexis Workman (eighth) and Spokane’s Madison King (ninth) additionally completed within the high 10.
Mansfield’s Skylar Adams (14th), Spokane’s Lily Hunsucker (seventeenth) and Hartville’s Clemmie Taylor (twenty fourth) additionally earned all-state honors.
Mansfield was the highest crew within the space ending tenth total. Sparta was eleventh with Thayer ending 14th and Stockton fifteenth.
