The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has warned President Muhammadu Buhari to deal with the calls for of Nigerians, or he’ll put the nation “on hearth”.
Wike’s remark comes two days after the federal government met with leaders within the South-South area.
On the assembly, the South-South leaders demanded the restructuring of Nigeria, consistent with the precept of true federalism.
Wike, talking on Channels Tv’s Dawn Day by day on Thursday, mentioned: “We should perceive on this nation that political management may be very key.
“Having the political will to implement what the folks need may be very severe.
“I don’t need to discuss concerning the challenge of mistrust or no belief in authorities. Folks have raised such points, that they don’t suppose that something will come out of all this dialogue. I don’t agree with that. I imagine that if the president doesn’t do, given the alternatives he has now, then, he will probably be placing Nigeria on hearth.”
